All of our stock has now been sold off. Many thanks to those who knew a good deal when they saw one!
Ontplates.com has sold its final plate as a registered business. No further items will be for sale.
Thanks to all of our clients over the years. From September 6, 2003 through December 31, 2024, we sold 1847 YOM-eligible items. That’s mostly pairs, with some single motorycle plates, and of course, the single plate years from 1943-47. Our most popular selling item was our 1967 Confederation pairs; we sold 125 of them. Our least popular item? 1924. We sold one 1924 pair in 22 years of business (the rest were liquidated within the last year; we don’t count our liquidation sales as part of our YOM total).
We will remain online until June 30, to be available for legacy warranty support.
After that, Ontplates.com will cease business operations. The web site as it appears now will be retired, and the Ontplates.com name will be used for non-profit hobby purposes. The Back Bumper, which is Jon Upton’s longtime hobby site (since 1997), will be rebranded as Ontplates.com.
